Can't install cumulative safety...for internet explorer 6

I get the message to install cumulative safety update fro Internet Explorer
6, service pack 1, KB834707 - men when I press the button nothing happens.

What button?
When you say you got the message, do you mean in automatic updates?

I think what he's trying to say is the email that was sent ot in regards to
that update i received that same email. I clicked on the link and that update
installed just fine.

An email?
MS does not send out patches via email - if you subscribed to the security
bulletins you might get these, but that's about the only way you would.
