I have a DVD program and when I go to install it automatically wants to
install in "F" location. I want to install it in "C" but don't know how.
Can someone help please. Tim Diamond,Canada

Put in the DVD and hold down the Shift key until the DVD stops spinning. Then open
My Computer and right click on drive the DVD is in and select Explore.
When open then point the setup.exe to the drive of your choice and then let it
install there

F location refers to F It.
Just F it and F your drive, abd it should work fine.

Hi, tmond.

No, you're not doing something wrong. But the "forum" to which you are
posting is not being honest with you.

All the forum is doing is relaying your question to the Microsoft public
news server, which is a part of Usenet, and then relaying any responses back
to you. So Peter - and I and millions of others around the world - are
reading your post and replying here in this newsgroup:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof....vista.general

We've probably never visited your forum and don't even know which one you
are using. All we can learn from the headers on your message is:
X-Newsreader: vBulletin USENET gateway
X-Originating-IP: 206.75.103.89

If you would like to "cut out the middleman" and post directly to this
newsgroup, just click the link I gave you above. It will start your default
newsreader (OE? WM? WLM? third-party?); create a Mail Account for you on
this Microsoft public news server, which is free and does not require you to
log on; connect you to THIS newsgroup; download the 300 latest posts here;
and display the newest message in the Reading Pane. After you try this for
a few days, you can decide which way YOU prefer to read these posts. I like
Newsgroups, but you can choose either the newsreader or your browser.
