I can't install IE7. Error code 0x3F5

Hi

I've tried 3 times to install IE7 and all three times have failed. I have
read the troubleshooting guide but it tells me to change permissions in some
keys in the registry that don't even exist.

I have tried to fix the problem without success. I looked in %windir.ie7.log
(< or something like that) and nothing came up from this, that I could work
on.

I tried to modify the registry which sounded daunting but I did try and
failed again. No problems with my computer though with that nad the registry
works normal again now.

I have also turned off my Anti-Virus and Firewalls when I try to install.

Please can somebody help me to tell me how to install this without having to
trail through Google and instructions that I definetly don't have a clue what
they mean.

Just simplify the instructions for me.
