Can't install June updates from Microsoft.com

Hey I downloaded the crucial updates from Microsoft and when I try to
install them it says there's a problem in my computer that won't allow me to
install. Anyone know what's wrong?

Yes, I have that problem too. But, I can install every update but not the
"Windows Genuine Advantage Notification (KB905474)". What should I do?

Follow this link and install it manually. It worked for me I just can't find
the post that told me to thank them

Is there a Windows 2000 option to update manually. All files have downloaded
but none will install.

What exactly do you mean by this? Be precise. Quote the update KB numbers
and the error code and/or error messages related to the failure, for each
affected KB number.

I am running into the same problem using Microsoft Update
KB911280
KB905474
KB917734
KB914389
KB917344
KB918439
KB916281
KB917953
KB890830
All office updates worked fine through office update.

The error message I am getting states there is a problem on my computer that
is preventing the updates from installing. Please try again and if there is
still a problem to try the troubleshooter.
The troubleshooter was useless, not even one suggestion.
When I look at update history it doesn't show any failed updates or list the
ones listed above at all.
Tried suggestions on this forum, disabled all firewall, antivirus, popup
blockers etc...
Nothing
Tried a knowledgebase suggestion of removing all update history and folders
etc...
Nothing
Any further suggestions besides downloading and installing each individual
update?
It would take me all day to install and restart after each one.
