I just got a new computer with Windows 2000 (not my decision)
I tried to download the latest MSN mesenger and the site states that
MSN messenger is no longer supported as of today.
So I donwloaded live messenger, but the install states that it needs
Windows XP.

So what can I do now??
I would like to get the latest version of MSN messenger. Anyone know
where I can get it?

Thanks..

By the way - this is a double post with the old MSN messenger forum.
However, I thought that this might me a better place to ask the
question since MSN messenger wasn't being supported anymore.

This one seems to be for Windows XP as well.
What would be the latest version for Windows 2000?
Thanks

Hi,

Sorry, I lost my mind there, you're completely right. However, if you do have a XP machine
handy, you can install 7.5 there and then just copy over the files to Win2k (doesn't work
with 8.0 though).

Otherwise, you can find 7.0 (fully functional on Win2k) here:
