Can't install May Junk E-mail Filter KB916521

I have used Windows Live Registry Cleaner before downloading latest updates.
Other updates for the month downloaded and installed no problem. The
fullfile download for this will not install either. Here's a copy of the

Bad mistake, I'm afraid. You now need to restore your registry as follows:

Use control panel "Folder Options", tab "View", to enable "Show hidden files
and folders"

Close all Internet Explorer windows.

Use Windows Explorer to navigate to folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Windows Live Safety
Center\BackUp\

and double-click the .reg file previously created by the Microsoft Safety
registry cleanup.

Please report back whether this fixes your problem.

Yes, "bad mistake" indeed, trusting Microsoft. Yeah, I know it's a beta,
but even a Microsoft beta shouldn't screw up registry entries involving
Microsoft products.
