Greetings,
Unfortunately it looks like a few things are broken here. Although as a possible quick fix
you can install Messenger on its own without the other stuff. However, this will only work
if your system is otherwise up-to-date with recent software.
To do this, just download and run the following MSI files:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/redir/w3qfe/wlm.asp
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/red...e/Contacts.asp
After this, you'll find Windows Live Messenger in the start menu. If you get an error
running Messenger, then we'll have to go through various setup logs... hopefully this won't
be required.
