I was installing the newest version of WLM. It was okay at first, but it
starts to rolling back afterward and I got two errors:

microsoft visual studio runtime....try installing windows live programs
again. programs were not installed because the installation was
cancelled. Aborted0x80004004."

"Windows live call could not write value to
key\SOFTWARE\microsoft\windows\currenthelper
Objects\{5c255C8A-E604-49b4-9D64-90988571CECB}, verify that you have
sufficient access to that key or contact your support personnel. Please
close all other open programs, and then try again. It looks like another
program is preventing the installer from working. hr0x80070643

what should I do, I am using windows XP. I have the space for the
messenger.

Please help! ^^

Greetings,

Unfortunately it looks like a few things are broken here. Although as a possible quick fix
you can install Messenger on its own without the other stuff. However, this will only work
if your system is otherwise up-to-date with recent software.

To do this, just download and run the following MSI files:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/redir/w3qfe/wlm.asp
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/red...e/Contacts.asp

After this, you'll find Windows Live Messenger in the start menu. If you get an error
running Messenger, then we'll have to go through various setup logs... hopefully this won't
be required.

What a stupid and rediculous reply, buy a MAC.

Sure the Mac OS seems to be better than windows, but people ask questions about their problems and a moron answer like "buy a mac, hehehe" isn't a solution.

When you car breaks down, I hope the technician will advice you to buy a bicycle.

Man, please help other people or shut up.
