Cant install new version of windows live messenger

Lastnight my windows messenger prompted me to download new version of windows
messenger. I tried 6 times. It would only download 53% then states error
80070652. I look into my updates it failed also. with 12 updates need to be
installed. Whats going on? Help

try to clean uninstall your wlm.
