Can't install sp1 on my vista ultimate x64.

Hello, i got a new computer yesterday and today a tried to install service
pack 1 to .NET Framework 3.5. I searched on Google about the problem, but
everyone answer different things. So i wonder if anyone of you have had the
same issue and have an conclusion for my problem.

I have both tried with Windows Update and to manually download it from
Microsofts website. I have also deleted all the old .NET and tried to
reinstall them but still the same problem.

[The section of windowsupdate.log you posted is pretty worthless IN RE the
..NET Framework 3.5 SP1 failure. It only tells us the the update servers
were swamped and unavailable at 18:06 local time on 13 May-09.]

1. Before doing anything else, write down the .NET Framework versions which
are already installed:

How to determine which versions of the .NET Framework are installed and
whether service packs have been applied

2. Now see Resolution Method 2 in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923100
(ignore the title). After running the appropriate/needed tool, (re)install
all .NET Framework versions manually using the download links on the page.

[Or just run Windows Update manually and "hide" the update.]
