can't install sr3

Hi All,

When I try to install sr3 I get an access denied error. What can I do to
fix this? I am using windows xp home sr2.

First, make sure that your anti virus software is locking the registry and preventing the
installer from modifying the same.

Hi,

thanks to the kb article you sent me I was finally able to install windows
xp sr3. What worked was method 3. thanks again for your help
