Well MS jolly well ought to fix it. I've wasted time emailing them and only
getting links to this sort of site instead of a solution. What do they think
they are doing?
I've tried every disc that could possibly be relevant and searched the hard
drive for the file they mention and it is all totally useless. I continue to
be plagued by the update shield telling me every time I boot up that there is
an installation due, which then fails every time.
Well. I'm not going to waste more time and money on a phone call to them. If
enough of us complain, they'll have to do something about it
eventually.........
