I have Windows XP Home Edition and i'm trying to download the update
Microsoft Works 8 (KB955428). Every time I try to install it I get an error
message saying "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource
that is unaviable....enter an alternate path to a folder containing the
installation package 'WORKS8.MSI'...." I have tried the solution suggested to
Kaze Kain for Vista but I don't get the run as supervisor option mentioned.

Hello,

Can you try to manually download this update to your machine and than
install it?

1. Right-click on the following link and SAVE the download to your desktop
(do NOT Run it):
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...D-0D0389C81F11

2. Right-click on the saved file and select "Run as Administrator"

3. Follow all prompts.
