Hi all

Hi all

I have been trying since this morning to get Service pack 1 installe
on a Lenovo IdeaCenter K Series K2.3 Pentium dual-core E2180(2.00GHz
3GB DDR2 500GB Intel GMA 3100 Desktop with Vista Home Premium. My Issu
is I get it all the way installed (and it csays configuring updates 3/
100% ) and it says service pack will not install, either throug
Wuindows Update or the exe from ms tech support. Both Fail. The erro
message generated is: I get an error from microsoft :0X800F0826. I woul
try this fix: Resolution 1: Restart your computer, and check Window
Update again to automatically install the System Update Readiness Too
for Windows Vista, But I dont see this in my updates with window
update.

How much of a pain am I in to get SP 1 Installed? Mat

Message Snipped, Just FYI.

Don't Take This Microsoft Fan Boy's Advice Seriously, Just FYI. All He
Does Is Kiss Up 2 Microsoft, Even Though His Answers Are 100% Wrong Most
Of The Time, Also Just FYI. Take My Advice Instead And Get Rid Of
Microsoft Windows Vista (Which Needs 2 Be Re-Called), And Either Go Back
2 Microsoft Windows XP, Upgrade 2 Microsoft Windows Server 2008, And/Or
Re-Format Your Computer And Install Open Source Linux Ubuntu, Just FYI.
