CANT INSTALL WIN 98!!!!!!!!

last night i formated my hard drive and i have the CD and start up disk. when
ever i try to intall using the CD it aborts, i think it might be that i dont
have partitions. but when i type FDISK it says No Fixed Disks Present.
Somebody please help!!!!

You need to ask in a Win98 News Group not in Windows Update.

Max;
That usually means there is no hard drive detected.
Check the BIOS and see if the hard drive is properly detected.
If not power off, open case and reseat hard drive cables at both ends.
