Can't invite using Remote Assistance (need to update?!)

Hi,

I am using latest Windows Live norwegian version (8.0.0812) . However,
when I try to invite someone to use Remote Assistance it tells me that I
need the latest Windows Messenger version in order to use this feature. I
thought you could use it from Live? Why else is this request feature in
the program at all? Also, I do have SP2 and thus the latest Windows
Messenger installed...

Any clues?

to use remote assistance, windows messenger must be pressent in the system

for an old outdated site..
