Can't load drivers or apps on vista ultimate

I have a new Dell laptop xps. It arrived with vista ultimate, but whil
everything runs great i cannot load new software (ie photo explosion) o
even install downloaded device drivers to install a printer. Everythin
I load gets 95% thru the install and then hangs with some error lik
(installation incomplete error 35505). When you check what the erro
means the solution is useless and never works. Anyone know whats goin
on????????

Sure.
It's a Dell...therefore it needs to be formatted...then clean installed
to remove all the crap they load on them.
Since its an XPS, you should have installation media.

Also, XPS support is pretty good..so call Dell.

And...forego some of the dell drivers for manufacturer drivers.

Dell often is months behind on drivers.
