Can't load service pack 2

Keep trying to upgrade to service pack 2 but keep getting error code OxC80003FA

0xc80003fA = hrReadVerifyFailure
Translation: May not be able to write to the SoftwareDistribution folder.

Help... I am tying to download Sp2 and it closes the browser after diplaying
the message "Checking to see if..."
