Can't make Chrome my default Browser ?

I am evaluating Chrome on several boxes - but the ones with Vista does not
allow me to change the default browser to Chrome ?

Using IE7 and Chrome

Anybody else have this problem ?

Go in to chrome and click on settings, then options and at the botto
you can set chrome as your default browser

This is what I tried - but it does not allow me to do it - only on my 2
vista machines

Check for any anti-spyware software that may be blocking the change.

Maybe that is a good thing since chrome is still in Beta format.

You have to Run Chrome as Administrator.

After that you can go on with echrada´s reply

Are they plugging into the Vista-standard "Default Programs" association
control panels found on the Start menu? That'd be the place to go for
one-stop shopping for associations.

It's pretty easy for applications to plug into this. =)
