Can't Open AOL Email

I support several PC's in a small town volunteer library. Walk in patrons
use the several computers mostly for email since they stay here only on
weekends in their cabins and don't have PCs here.

The problem is when they try to use AOL email , and I understand Comcast too
- they can see a list of their emails but they CANNOT open or reply to the
emails. The PC's use IE 6 and the OS is W2000. Are there some setting(s) in
the browser that I haven't got set correctly or is there something else I'm
missing? Would appreciate help.

Is a pop-up window being blocked by a third-party toolbar or security
program? Something like the Google toolbar, Yahoo toolbar, etc?

We just use the software called "Popup Blaster" on all of the PCs. All of
the several PCs have "Popup Blaster" installed on them. I know users can get
into AOL on one of the PCs, but I can't figure out why so I'm suspious that
"Popup Blaster is not the problem? We are not using the toolbars you
mention. Are there any IE settings in "tools" that could be causing the
problem? Thansk.

As I wrote earlier, we use "PopupBlaster." We don't use the toolbars you
mention. I should have also noted we use AVG anti-virus software. Am I
missing a setting in the browser? IE6, OS is W2000. Thanks.
