I have always been able to open documents that are attached in emai
without having to actually SAVE the attachment. This is handy as mos
of the time I don't want to save it. However, with this relatively ne
laptop and using Vista, for whatever reason, Vista will not allow me t
view any powerpoint attachment without saving it first. This does no
happen with Word or Excel. I'm using Student/Home Office 2007, and I'
thinking that either that software has a design flaw concerning th
powerpoint "asssociation", or (no surprise here), it just could be
Vista problem. Any suggestions? I've tried everything, and I hat
having to save an attached .pps file, look at it, and then delete it.
VERY time consuming.

Thanks,
Brad

Brad, I have been trying to fix this same problem for several weeks now and
this is the first time I came across any information even close to the
problem. John Inzer had the correct awnser, at least it worked for me. Go to
the www.winhelponline.com this will tell you how to edit the registry, I
liked that better than downloading something as you can always put the
registry back. Good Luck to You and Thank-You to John Inzer.
