Can't open individual emails since update

I downloaded Office Small Business SP1 & SP2 this morning and now when I try
to open individual emails I get an error message window "There was an error
opening this message. An error has occured.". I click OK and the window
goes away but the mail never opens. I reloaded the IE 6 SP2 because I was
previously (still since the update) getting a second error window along with
the other one that said I may need to reload Outlook Express and that's what
I tried to do. I no longer get the may need to reload but still getting the
one error message. Please help!

And is the Mail Client Outlook or Outlook Express?

Post any/all error messages in their entirety (i.e., verbatim), please.
