Cant Open Msn Messinger Live Ver 5.xx up

Hey, Some times when msn crashes, i CRT-ALT-DEL and end task, and when i go
to re-open msn messinger live it dosent do anything, I got back to the
windows task manager it tells me there is 1 or more "msnmsgr.exe" when i go
to close them all and re-open still nothing. I tryed to delete every peace of
messinger on my pc and re-install it after a restart and still nothing. Is
there anything that could be casue this problem ? Note that windows messinger
works perfectly fine..

Do you have any third-party software installed (like Messenger Plus) or are you using any
patches?

If not, do you have any webcams attached? If so, unplug them and see if you can get the same
problem.

Hey, I dont have any third party related software relating to msn messinger,
i did how ever try to unplug the webcam and still nothing. Some times if i
leave it for a long time it opens up but after like a few hourse of use it
crashes and it dose it all over agian. My web cam is microsft certified.
Any other tricks up ur sleave?

Hey i just stumbled on something, when i pull out the Cat 5 network cabe out
msn opens works fine, soon as i plug it back in msn locks up. Its almost like
there is something fishy goen on cuss i notice when i open msn messinger when
nothing happens when i am not usen any networking aka internet explorer or
chat software. But i notice it sends and revices data but nothing happens,
soon as you force close it nothing is sent or recived.

I have the same problem whit my msn client, when i deactivate my network
card it works, but when i activatet it agan i freces.
