Can't open my word document in my yahoo on my laptop

Can anyone tell me how to open my word documents from my yahoo email? I just
downloaded Microsoft Office word, but it keeps opening in NOTEPAD. Any help
would be so appreciated. Thank you to all that can help!

Right click on the document and choose open with. If Word is there, choose
it, otherwise browse to winword.exe. It is easier if you search for it on
the start menu so you can browse right to it.

What does (downloaded microsoft office word) mean?
as saying you downloaded something means to contacted a web site and
downloaded something from that site?

if your referring to installing word, then please stop using the phrase
downloaded, it doesn't mean installed.
