Can't open a VirtualPC hard drive image

Hi,

I was running VirtualPC XP mode in order to run Office Accounting on my
computer. Recently I had a hard drive failure and lost everything. However, I
was thinking that I was OK because I had a copy of the hard drive image which
I understand is the whole virtual PC instance including the OS, apps, data,
etc.

However, when I click on it, it starts launching the VirtualPC but then
hangs. All I see is just the black background of the command prompt.

Any idea what might be causing this issue and how I can get around it? It's
very important that I get into this virtual pc.
