can't open windows media player - using windows vista business

Never had problems using windows media player. Now can't open it: I get this
message: wmploc.dll has this number 11.0.6002.18065 as it expected this
number 11.0.6002.18111, windows media player is wrong installed. You like to
reinstall it? When I try to reinstall it following all the steps, my computer
says that the version I have of windows media player is newer as the version
I try to install!!! I can not uninstall it because it is not listed in the
list with programms...
Don't get it!!

Follow the instructions at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/961047 to fix
this.
