cant ping my self

hi

when i ping my local computer with 127.0.0.1 i get a timed out request
messsage
i dont get responce why that happen ?

i got local help systems with some softwares and because 127.0.0.1 dont work
i think any browsing with IE with a URL for localhost will fail

i use live onecare as antivirus and no firewall haw can i enable 127.0.0.1 ?

i tried to go to the link
http://127.0.0.1:80 i got page under construction i didnt get the IIS page
as for http://localhost i get an empty page although i can see that default
websites
under IIS is running

as for 127.0.0.1 i can ping my self
