cant play burnt ripped music

have ripped cd's on to my computer and when i try to burn the songs back on
to cd i can only play the the burnt cd on the computer. it wont work on any
other device how can i fix this

What version of WMP and Windows?

Perhaps you burned it as a data CD instead of an audio CD? Data CD's
(containing the original MP3 files) can be played without a problem by
PCs, but most CD players don't support them.

In WMP, click the little arrow right below the Burn button at the top,
and make sure Audio CD is selected.
