I am having to use an ME Computer to post this question. When using my Vista
computer, I can log in to this site, my name shows up, but when I click New/
question like I just did for this post, I just get a clunk sound and nothing
happens.
Deleting cookies and temp internet files did not help. Thanks

Your Vista browser probably has the setting to not show the information bar
at the top, and you must use that to enable popups for that site, before you
can reply. One alternative is to set your links to open in a new TAB
instead.

Better yet use a news reader and forget the clunky web interface.

Press and hold the CTRL key while clicking New Post.

A new post looks like a pop-up, and you have pop-ups blocked. You can
unblock pop-ups or hold the CTRL key when you do an activity that looks like
a pop-up to the blocker.

Jeff: Thank You very much. I just used it for the first time. Nice simple
solution. That's the way I like it.
Can you also tell me how to get notified if someone responds to my posts
on this site? I always check "Notify me of Replies" and it never has.
-- I have deleted cookies and temp internet files to see if that helped -
no help.

Mark: I don't know what this is. Would I come to this same site without using
ie?
Is it email? I already have a section in my email structure that has some of
these
same postings, but it seem limited and I don't see how to navigate according
to
subject matter like the site has? Thanks

Communities Email Notification always appears when I exit from a posting.
Am I suppose to fill that out? It looks like I would be signing up to receive
their newletters and ads about their products if I did. I don't want that and
I figure they already know my email address, so they ought to be able to
notify me when there is a reply to my post. Thanks

The info at the site was for XP/OE. I have Vista/WM. I tried to search for
it, but
didn't find it. Thanks
