Hi Trent,
I found out there is a little glitch in Vista that causes this problem. It
seems that if you have some "URL" files on your desktop, or internet links
directly on the desktop, for some reason the Windows photo gallery won't open
up. Try moving your links to a different folder and probably you'll be able
to preview your pictures again.
At least that was the problem on my computer and one of my friends computer.
