can't re-add a computer that was deleted a group

I removed a computer from a group now I can't re-add it. I have one
group
setup for all workstations (30).
I have tried, rebooting the workstation, renaming the workstation,
forcing
the GP, and forced an update using the AUForceUpdate script.
However the workstation still will not appear in the correct group or
in the
"unassigned group"?
Im not to versed in command prompt stuff, so if you could give me the
exact
command and a few simple steps that would be a big help.
Any Ideas?
