Can't Reactivate Windows after memory upgrade

I purchad a PC whit Windows Media center 2005, after recived my upgrade for
Windows Vista Premium for this computer and only had 512KB... this week I put
more memory (2 GB) but I need re-activate my windows, but when I activating
online this failed.
recive error the my code is now activate on other PC but only have 1 PC,

Question .-
What should I do about re-activating my windows?

You will encounter problems trying to activate by the Internet, so simply
make a call which is free of charge and explain the situation and Windows
Vista will be reactivated for you no problems.

Use the automated Phone System to Activate instead, follow thru with the
steps, saying the generated code given to you on the phone, then wait for an
operated to assist, who will then give you another code to type in and then
enter. Should take approximately 10 minutes!

It begs the question, why should a memory upgrade
make it a different computer?
Surely the only thing that should determine if it's
another different computer is the motherboard, since
in most cases it involves a complete reinstall of the OS
for a different chipset.
Another example of shiddy software.
