We have two home computers that receive our e mails (same address). One has
been turned off for a few months. We are trying to use it now and it can't
download the 857 messages that are waiting (even though we have read them on
the other computer. Is there a way to bypass their download and just start
receiving e mail from this day on? New computer, microsoft vista. HELP!!!!

Log on the the server on the web. You can delete them there.

Can you access the mailbox with the mail provider's Web page and delete the
messages?

Thanks! I couldn't figure out what message it was, so deleted them all. Now
it works.
