I can't receive or send messages!

pPeople,pls,I need your help

I installed Windows Live Messenger,but now I cannot receive or send any
message!I can open my e-mail,but nothing more!It's really annoying! when i
click on ony of my contacts,there's always same message,that they are unable
to start conversation with that person!if you know something,please help me...
