Can't Refresh Win Explorer With F5 (or Menu)

Copy files or folders to a Win Explorer pane, they're at the bottom of the
list. That's fine. Press F5, nothing happens. i.e. they do not go into
alphabetical order. In fact, menu View > Refresh doesn't do it either.

Each column of the details view has a title, like 'Name', Clicking that
twice will re-sort into default order.
