I cant remove programs.

For some reason, whenever I try to remove/uninstall a program it says that I
need to be an administrator but, I already am. What can I do about this too
many programs taking up space on my computer.

And when it says that you need to be an "administrator" does it give you the
opportunity to put in the administrator password?
What version of Windows?
Also be aware that this group is for the support of problems incurred when
updating the Windows Operating System using Windows Updates.

Yes, I didn't always have this problem, only after I started downloading
updates. And my OS is Windows Vista HP
