cant remove software program..please help

Im trying to installed updated verson of Arcsoft, but i have to uninstall
older version first. I have tried uninstalling using the disk and through
control panel add\remove programs neither is working. Any and all suggestions
would be appreciated.

I have already spoke with acrsoft support, ran my ad-aware and my
Nortons\Symantec and nothing was found. However, at this point I'm will to
try almost anything. thank you Dave.

OK so after doing all of this last night, I didnt have any malware, spyware,
torjans or viruses. And I still cant get this stupid program to uninstall! I
have called the manufactor and everything. Does anyone have more suggestions?

Reinstall the un-named application then unistall the application.

That was the first thing I tried when it didnt uninstall.

The manufacturer doesn't have a removal tool?

they didnt say so if they do. I have explored the CD and cant find removal
tools. I am at a lose I feel I have tried everything.
