Can't rip music-Missing Media Usage Rights

This is something new. When I try to rip cd's (which I haven't done in
awhile) it says "error" in the "rip status" column and when I check under
"properties" for each song it says that "the file is missing media usage
rights". What the heck?!? I tried numerous cd's so I don't think it's a
problem with a specific cd. What do I do??? Thanks for any help.
