the other KB article I knew about it deals with 2000 and above.
my feeling is that when windows udate looks at window and determins the
system it's getting confused into thinking I am not 98 98SE OR ME. iF I what
file it was I could go back and restore it. The last time I had this problem
I "fixed" it by doing a clean install. I makes no sense to do it again if it
will come back
