cant se emoticons

does anyone know how I can see my emoticons? They just disappeared. They were
they then they were gone. I have the latest version, and my flash is updated.
Everyone else can see the bats by my name but I cant see any of theirs. HELP

It's possible that they just got turned off. To check open up any Messenger window, press
the Alt key on the keyboard to bring up the main menubar, choose the Tools menu, then
Options, click the Messages tab and check the two emoticon options at the top.
