Can't see movie

using Vista + IE8

My son has a website with picture gallery.
I can see the photos - no problem.

When it comes to the videos - can't see them.

Why?

"can't see them" says NOTHING of what happens when you try? We don't know
if you are trying to play them using a handler that displays the movie
within the web page, within the web browser, or you are downloading the
movie and trying to view it in some player program. You never said what
TYPE of video file it is. Maybe it's streaming video. Maybe its Flash.

Is your son's web page a secret and why you couldn't give out a URL for it?
