Can't See Own Video

I recently upgraded to Windows Live Messenger Build 14.0.8089.726.

Now, when I start a webcam session, I can see and hear the other party, and
the other party can see and hear me, but, on both ends, we can't see our own
video at the bottom. If I remember right, I think the bottom window (where
we'd normally see our own video) had some sort of icon looking like a
settings icon or an X, I don't recall exactly.

Also, in WLM audio/video settings, I can see my webcam fine.

Clearly, this isn't a webcam driver issue or anything like that since the
webcams are both working fine.

In previous versions of WLM, we were both able to see our own video.

Any ideas? Two people with the same problem.

Any ideas how to resolve?

Greetings Lex,

See the following entry on my blog which deals with a few reasons why this would be
happening:

I couldn't find any of that in my searching, so thanks.

I'll give that a try and hopefully it resolves the issue.
