Glad it's working okay and fixed so easily.
The file was there, it wasn't deleted.
All you did was re-registered the dll.
If you have any problems in the future with WU, view the log file to see if there is
an error code.
For V5 , open Internet Explorer and either type or copy and then paste this into the
Address bar:
%windir%\windowsupdate.log
