Can't seem to install Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework

Hi. I'm having problems installing the Security Update for Microsoft .NET
Framework, Version 2.0 (KB928365). When I try to install it either through
the Windows Update website or through Automatic Updates, I get a "Some
updates were not installed" message which lists that update, and in my
history, it gives me error code 0x643. This is occurring on both my
computers. On my desktop it's tried to install the update through Automatic
Updates 9 times and through Windows Update twice and failed at all of them;
on my laptop it's tried 17 times with Auto and 4 times with the website and
failed at all. I read in this newsgroup about a similar problem with the
Security Update for .NET Framework, Version 1.1, but that one installed fine
for me.

Sorry, it's XP SP2. I'll try the method in the link you gave me. Thanks a lot.
