can't send or get emails.

Hi, I had a family member use my computer and know can't get emails sent or
receive. Here's the info it says. Can someone help me to see what to reset,
etc? thank you SOOO much.
PS it also says my draft, sent, inbox, outbox, etc for same mesage.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Gmail (reneeandjerry) account.
Your 'Drafts' folder was not polled for its unread count. Your IMAP server
has closed the connection. This may occur if you have left the connection
idle for too long.
