Can't sign in, error code 81000314

Can't sign into MSN, was working earlier and my friend (who I have
phoned) can sign in....

Gives the error code 81000314.

My Orange broadband has been upgraded today from 2 meg to 4meg, could
that be part of the problem?

Forgot to say, running the latest BETA, not had any trouble up till now...

99% of the time this is a server-based error and it'll just correct itself on its own, so
just try again later.

I'm also having the same problem, my personal account won't sign in but my
work account will. Been over 24 hours now :0(

Same problem. Any other advice than wait? Is this specific to only some
users? The person I was chatting with had no problem. Is there another place
to report this?

Me too! Tried on 3 different machines, with both MSN messenger and Live
messenger - no different. My other account works fine on the same PCs so I
think it *HAS* to be a server problem for some accounts. Only thing I did was
to change my password yesterday, but it worked OK immediately afterwards,
until this evening.

Same here, just managed to sign in successfully with the girlfriends
e-mail & password but won't work for mine. Keep waiting I spose...
