I can't sign into Windows Live Messenger

I'm using Windows Live Messenger client v.8.0.0812.00 - I already deleted my
Contact cache folder, but my issue isn't resolved. My current time is 10:13
PM E.S.T. When I try to sign in I get this error message:

"Signing into Windows Live Messenger failed because the service is temporary
unavailable. Please try again later. Error code: 81000314" (What does this
mean)?

I checked the Service Status at:
http://status.messenger.msn.com/Status.aspx

The message on this web-site says: "All systems are stable and running"
What gives? Why the conflicting messages? Why can't I connect? Please get
back to me. Thank you.

I've had the same problem since the forced upgrade on 9/11. I've reinstalled
several times.

The error code is 8100030D

I got someone on the chat help line and they said someone would contact me.
It hasn't happened.

I use the Verizon WebCalling a lot and it is costing me $$ using my mobile
now.

Please someone at Microsoft: HELP

The reason why the status page isn't updated is because this isn't affecting all accounts.
More than likely it's working again now.
