Can't sign in on MSN or MY MSN.

No updates to install can sign in via Window Messenger: On MSN Home page try
to sign in and you'll get "Internet Explorer has encounterd a problem and
need to closed.Also after you sign in via Window Messenger, On MSN home page
you can click on anything and be directed to or receive information but don't
dare click on MY MSN, if not you get that same message.
Would SP1 bein the add and remove programme?
Should I wait until Sp2 is available instead of reinstalling SP1?
Can't I just go and reinstall I Explorer 6 if there is a problem?
