I'm having sorta the same problem. I can talk to a contact, but every so
often I lose the ability to send messages. I keep getting "The following
message could not be delivered to all recipients:" that message every time I
try to send something. It usually starts working after a while again, signing
in/out doesn't do anything... I have to sit and wait. Usually I can speak
again once my contact says something to me, but sometimes it takes a lot
longer.
It happens a lot when talking to Yahoo contacts and offline contacts, but
it's not just limited to them.
It is unacceptable really. I don't want to sound like a whinging pensionner
or anything, but Microsoft needs to wise up to what we want. We don't want a
new UI (like they've done in 8.5), we just want things that are supposed to
work to work. Then they can add new stuff.
