CAN'T SYNC MY ATT 8525 WITH WINDOWS MOBILE ON VISTA OS

I have tried many times to sync my ATT 8525 smartphone to a new computer
with Windows Mobile. The OS is Vista 64 bit. It syncs fine with another
computer using active sync in XP. I have tried re-creating the partnership
on the phone and the PC, and still no luck. Any suggestions from the
community???

Step #1 is going to be to give us some details. "Can't sync" doesn't say
much. When you connect the USB cable and look at Windows Mobile Device
Center (you *do* have that, right?), what happens? Do you have a firewall
running? Turning that off, to allow all traffic, would be one quick test.

Hi Steve,

More details about the issue will enable more suggestions as Paul has
pointed out. To begin, ensure you have the correct version of WMDC as you
have one for 32bit and another for 64bit.
