Nope, nothing on the Pocket PC will block connection.
First thing to check is that you're not using a USB HUB - connect the cable
directly to a USB port on your computer.
Next thing is personal firewall software. Zone Alarm must be set to medium,
Norton IS and Windows XP SP2 built-in firewall will need allow rules to let
ActiveSync work properly.
Also, make sure you install ActiveSync BEFORE you plug the cable or place
the Pocket PC in the cradle.
Make sure you soft reset the Pocket PC and that it has some memory
available. You might want to open Pocket Internet Explorer if you use it and
tap Tools | Options and tap the Delete Files button to clear the cache and
free up some memory.
